Project summary

Redesigned the pusheenbox.com website using Pusheen’s assets. The purpose of this redesign was to incorporate the new subscription box, the Cat Kit (previously called the Kitten Around box before launch) into our current Pusheen box website, which only sold 1 box at the time. The main project was to redesign the homepage/landing page.

01. GOAL

Launch the second Pusheen Box - the Cat Kit

To make the distinction of the two Pusheen boxes - Pusheen box (for humans) & the Cat Kit box (for cats). This is the landing page for customers to choose which box they would like to indulge in!

02. CHALLENGE

Adding a second box to the site may lead to confusion

Our main concern was returning customers will not realize there’s a new box on the site and buy the wrong box. This was our first licensed box with two subscriptions on the site so we needed to make it as clear as possible.

03. SOLUTION

Distinguish the two boxes visually as much as possible

The mint color was used to represent the new Cat Kit box. This was the main way we distinguished the boxes from each other. We also made separate pages for them in the navigation bar, used different graphics, and copy to make sure the customer knew exactly what they were buying.

We also used Pusheen’s main font Futura PT throughout the entire site as it looks the best on web

FINAL LANDING PAGE DESIGN

I worked closely with my creative director and Pusheen's licensing team to make sure the landing page accurately depicted Pusheen's character.
